No it hasn't been a total disaster they will finish probably 4th or 5th so a little down on their average of 3rd but no biggy. The senior team will probably finish mid-table as well. If thats great then thats great, we are only a little country. :thumbright:

I'm not saying it is great, but it doesn't mean that Wales U20 are such a bad team based on this one match either. And from an Italian perspective, it is good they are no longer such walkovers and have finally put an end to their 20 match losing streak. (They lost really badly to France, but their losses to England and Ireland were much narrower).

Marvellous result for Italy, their front row were outstanding and i liked their 8. For Wales it is what it is.

Didn’t watch it but it’s a poor result no matter what anyone says

Why thank you :) :thumbright:

Its just that if you keep doing something the same way and constantly get similar results, then it seems foolish to except perceptible improvement. Fluctuations perhaps but little else.

Not a bad team no, but they did ship a few tries against us, so maybe the warning signs were there.

True, but unlike the Senior team they still managed to win in Dublin.

I think that the U20 selections for the Italy match were a little bit biased towards sons of....(no names no pack drill).
Time for a proper evaluation of the U20 player base.

The Italian side was the strongest they have ever put on the field.

Most of their squad had top class experience, according to the commentator, and he also confirmed that the Wales side didn't have nearly as much similar experience.

It showed.
