Seeing pitches like that makes me think that maybe the idea of making union a Summer sport isn't so silly after all. Anyway, what has happened to Tigers? When I lived in Leicester, at one point they didn't lose at home for two years! Now, by contrast, they are in the bottom half of the Aviva and both last season and (judging by how the match is going so far) this one they only won one European match.

They fired Cockerill, and have gone downhill while Edinburgh has improved

Cockerill was obviously used as the scapegoat/fall guy for what appear to be much deeper problems at the club.

Nige now deciding to arbitrarily not enforce the laws about taking a player out in the air... Had May done a bit of dramatics rather than getting up and running he may have been forced to do something.

Doesn't make it right, the laws are pretty strict on the issue and the fact the player was still moving and then grabbed Mays legs mean that should have been a yellow. It's only not given if a player is static under the ball and another player jumps into their space. The Racing player was moving forwards so that doesn't apply.
