I've enjoyed the largely Scarlets commentary to this one, well done Osps!

as Nige opens the doors for the Blues

but

Scores on doors ;)

Biggar well deserved mom

Meanwhile Brive and Toulon beating the shit out of one another, 3/9 after 50

Probably because the other Regions have lost their fans.I personally want all Wales Regions to do well.
But we've got to face it, the game today was rubbish as was most of the game between Scarlets and Dragons.
We're not in good shape for the 6N and I think we are in trouble against the Scots at home in the opening salvo.
Not sure how many of our better players are injured. Even if they were available we would still be struggling.
The poor coaching in the Regions will manifest itself in the internationals.

Oddly enough, we got away with it for a while under Gatland, but the failure to develop the professional game in Wales will now come home to roost. Great to have a big stadium with no debt, but if the product is poor, who cares?

Ys Pivac has built a good team at the Scarlets with very little money, so it can be done. the situation needs management and looking at what is said to be the management team at the WRU does not breed any confidence.

Llanelli Scarlets put little or nothing into the National game for very nearly 10 years.

Your coach, your choice, was an unmitigated disaster as well.

Ancient history....I'd be happy with no Scarlets in the team...the WRU has its own little schemes for its East Walian friends and it gives great pleasure to watch them all fall apart

Go Dragons, lose 20 games next year :D Maybe you can get your former CEO to write more cheques to extend that great use of scarce cash...

Great stuff.. :D

It takes intelligence to get the argument which rules you out ;)

A little teaser got a response ...

;)

The Ospreys nearly lost that game; subbing players is chancy when there are injuries immediately afterwards.

Watkins looked badly hurt didn't he?

:(

Tandy said, "Alun, we think, is okay - it's a head injury. Ows (Watkin) had a bang on his head and compressed his neck up a little bit. Hopefully it'll just be precautionary. Owen will probably go to hospital for checks."

Hmm. Not good.

Ospreys and Welsh teams currently have no idea of tactics and it's been like that for a few years now, when to kick at goal and when not to for example, very disappointing and its something you can't really teach, either a captain has a rugby brain or they don't.
