Re: Ireland vs Argentina, Dublin, Saturday
The issue of the AB's has been mooted ever since one of them took a tumble at the Cardiff Arms, all those years back. I understand how you feel frankly - is it 1953, the last time you beat them?- as until Autumn of last year in Chicago, we had never beaten them, full stop. The best we got prior to that, was a 10-10 draw at Lansdowne Road, in 1973 and we should have course, have won in 2013. Sean

Re: Ireland vs Argentina, Dublin, Saturday
I will wattch this game with trepidation. There is a good chance that Ireland will totally dominate this game and more than match the Argentine front five that gave England so much trouble.
If so then it does not bode well for England in the 6N. Ireland are strong in the area which gives England most problems

Re: Ireland vs Argentina, Dublin, Saturday
Plus Ireland have a far superior Back Row which makes the front five battle even more crucial!

This second half performance really has been poor by Ireland.

When you are playing a team like Argentina the last thing you do is give them hope and thats all Ireland have done in this second half, 10 mins left if Argentina score again we could be in a spot of bother.

Hasn't it just and we're struggling to contain their running game. Ireland 25 Argentina 12, with 71 gone. Sean

25-12 to Ireland, penalty chance here for Ireland which should seal the game.

Re: Ireland vs Argentina, Dublin, Saturday
11-14 has a grand total of 5 caps and the debut winger is in 13 now so I probably should have expected it.

I'm astonished Argentina were able to keep going, fair play to them.
