Second best Welsh regional team right now

Yep! Forced to agree. I might add that they are improving with every game.
But we shouldn't take Zebra as a yardstick.

I'd hesitantly agree with that. I'd also add that they came closer than any other team this season in the league to beating Glasgow. Once Warburton, Anscombe, Ellis Jenkins etc. return from injury, they might become a (relatively) formidable side.

I doubt if Sam will play in the Pro14 unless he needs a warm up game for Wales to be honest. The other two named will definitely help, but the biggest difference will be if Gethin stays fit and doesn't get a Wales call up.

No, but Sam could be used extensively in the Challenge Cup when he returns, and could help take the Blues quite far.

Good point, reading the tea leaves, if we win the group it would mean a home quarter final against Gloucester, Glasgow or Bordeaux. Sam would definitely be handy for that game!

Fixed.

Wow. The Blues get their third win of the season, against the worst team in the league, and now they're all set to conquer Europe.
Do people ever stop to consider that if they weren't so quick to accept mediocrity, then the onus might be on the regions to actually improve?

Kings 17-43 Zebre in SA says that Zebre aren't the worst team in the league.

I was thinking primarily of their wins against Lyon and especially Toulouse, not so much this match.

Unlikely given he's not in the Wales squad. Davies looks likely to be starting as Webb is injured.
