Wales should stick to a back 3 of halfpenny North and liam Williams. Steff Evans isent impressing me to be honest i see him more of a squad player.

Liam needs to go back to the naughty step and think about what he’s done.

Evans wasn’t great... Williams hauled off due to indiscipline

Think one of the spots is up for grabs. North, halfpenny and one other

Halfpenny has come into a bit of form and his kicking means the 10 can concentrate on the game

Keep saying it, but Halfpenny’s kicking is worth 10-15 points per game. Why on earth would we not want that?
If there was an outstanding alternative it might be different. Sanjay has had two big chances to put his hand up, and blown both.

I don't think that is the end of Liam's career, he is far too good. He looked a bit cheesed off that his place was taken without going back onto the pitch. He will probably get a bollocking and that will be the end of the story.
Our best back three against a very strong aggressive France would be Ha'penny, Liam and North. Steff may find himself warming the bench.
Owen Watkin reminded me a bit today of Foxy, it's going to be hard to dislodge him from the number 13 jersey.

Not suggesting it should be the end of Liam’s career. He’s still an amazingly good player. Just think we have the luxury of being able to leave him on the bench for the next game. Might make him think twice before he does dumb shit again.

One of his strengths is his potential power tackle.

The circumstances to deliver rarely allows thinking time, it's with him and I doubt it can be counselled and controlled?

On an historical front JPR would be regularly yellowed or redenned! :D
I remember one shoulder tackle on the french winger Goudon (Sp?) on the corner flag that saved the day!

I still think it was nonsense. The guy was travelling in the same direction as the hit, it was not head on, and he made contact with "the neck area" not the head. There was nothing dangerous about it.

I don't think it was even a penalty and a yellow card was an absolute load of cobblers.

Combine that with the tortured logic used to find some reason, any reason, to deny the second try for Parkes and the TMO is a numpty.

I think was a yellow... but that can be debated

What was stupid was putting in a massive, low percentage, and potentially high hit when we had a penalty

Brain dead. Just let the guy ground it and go again

We are lucky now that we really do have the option of 'resting' players without it being a euphemism said good bye to them.
We can actually chose horses for courses or chose one from 3 with a bit of thinking instead of just looking who is available.

Being humiliated by a real wing seemed to upset the Welsh boy.

His vicious attack was a bit out of character though and his failure to get on the field again after his stupidity might have taught him a lesson.

Might.
