Bulldozer or not, no one can run without legs. Edwards will no doubt be working on that. :D

Before yesterday I was fairly confident of a comfortable win over France. That said, not sure if France were actually that good or England were just toilet.

Maybe the playing at home factor has to be taken into account. France were also one drop goal away from beating Ireland, which on paper would look very unlikely now.

Yes, seems home advantage is telling this year.

That may just have been France's big performance and we owe them one for that debacle last year.

As a special treat, do you want to start a thread on the next Lions Tour, Buggy?

;)

Guirado Fra Capt and a prime player is injured and has test on knee on Tuesday looks doubtful.

Pelissié his bench deputy who came on 66 min yesterday is lightweight  and why Chat has been ignored nobody seems to know other than Brunel. Chat is excellent and strong around the field but his lineout throwing can be suspect ... so that shouldn't make any difference to the french lineout :D

Brings up the aspect of captaincy, I'd bet my last dollar on Basta ;)

And Wales have struggled for parity upfront, even against Italy. I think France will beat Wales, they can bully us, if they turn up that is. Who knows .............

Both Ireland and England (still the best 2 teams in the Europe despite England's recent woes) struggled against France - that's probably no coincidence.
France are becoming a difficult side to beat with a big pack, quite a few players capable of winning turnovers / slowing the ball down, and recently they've started to look a threat with ball in hand.
Will be a big challenge for Wales but if Gats gets his selection right and the lads perform I expect us to win, though not by much.

Got my ticket and am looking forward to it! :)

France bulldozed Englands forwards in the breakdown- but were not dominant in the line out or scrum
I expect Wales to do better than England at the breakdown and worse than England in the set piece.

I expect France to have most of the possession, but Wales will get a chance to run at France.

If Wales defence is as good as previous then Wales could win, but this game will be the biggest test yet for it.

How big a threat is basteraue (sp) is it worth putting a big hard tackler in the centre at the cost of some attacking ability.

That's what Eng tried to do and Teo came out second best.

and watch the 'new' Basta ...he has developed a quick pass alternative whilst attracting 2 defenders.

Also, whoever is 10!for Wales can expect heavy traffic ... they targetted Ford and disrupted the Eng 5/8s significantly.

Wales will win, especially 4Q ;)
