Shambles from the start and the pack going backwards totally exposed our half-backs.

Fond expectations of a bonus point went out of the window in the first 20 minutes as everything turned to ashes for our scrumhalf.

Well played Italy. That was great wet weather play and your first win against our lads was thoroughly deserved.

It's not awful until both halfbacks and the backrow get totally overwhelmed.

Ah, you might well be right.

Nothing to worry about, merely select them for the full senior side and the experience they gain will immediately make them into international class players. Its a well-known fact..... well in Wales.
:D

Well they thrashed Scotland and (unlike Scotland tonight) won in Dublin, so it hasn't been entirely disastrous for this Wales U20 team.

That is the annoying part of it. We know what they are capable of, and what they did tonight.

No it hasn't been a total disaster they will finish probably 4th or 5th so a little down on their average of 3rd but no biggy. The senior team will probably finish mid-table as well. If thats great then thats great, we are only a little country. :thumbright:

Well they are clearly capable of losing to a team who lost by over 70 pts to France. They may not be as bad as they appeared today, but they are also not as good as many people claimed against Scotland. The table is the table.

I'm not saying it is great, but it doesn't mean that Wales U20 are such a bad team based on this one match either. And from an Italian perspective, it is good they are no longer such walkovers and have finally put an end to their 20 match losing streak. (They lost really badly to France, but their losses to England and Ireland were much narrower).
