Well played Ireland.

They are such a hard side to beat.

See that as a more or less 50/50 game. Hard to call, will have to see how England go shortly.

Pretty much yes. England need to win and win well now.

Hats off to Ireland. Head and shoulders the best team this 6N.

Very efficient, but the way they play doesn't win any friends.

No, we've reverted to very conservative template, but our backline han't been that creative today.

Ringrose was superb

Well played Ireland.
Showed determination and intelligence.
Scotland, I am none the wiser if they are a very good side or home town bullies.

They're a very good side, if their offloading game bears fruit: few can live with them when it does.

Problem is, they don't seem to have Plan B.

They don't heve the forwards to allow then to play Plan B

Possibly not no; still the Championship is something from this 6 nations.

Indeed. The first part of my post was agreeing with you. The second (effectively) saying we'll take it, because we earned it in the face of persistent Scottish defiance.

Ireland will do precisely what we did in Cardiff. The sole difference may be that Ireland will beat our winning margin! That's not for one minute disparaging the Scots, I'd love them to end-up doing what they managed over England, they deserve a reward for what they've had to claw their way back from but............ I still think all of us are underestimating just how good this Irish team is! I honestly don't think, Ireland whether home or a way, have anything to fear from any team, Kiwi's included!

Scotland may just play a similar game to us and perhaps, do it better given enough possession? That could then make it a toss-up at the death! Heart would love to see a Scottish win, my head tells me that Ireland just have too many big guns and could, in the final quarter, run riot! Still hard to understand just why though, in the 80th minute of us against the Irish, we were a mere 3 points behind and looking for a score......... That, despite some 70% Irish possession and position!! Home advantage appears to be a massive factor in the 6N these days?

How do you explain a last min 2 pt win against Fra and zero tries?

Ireland very deserved winners. Scotland murdered a couple of definite try scoring opportunities. The Irish coach has them playing to a game plan that works for each game. Ringrose looks to be a special type of centre who excites when he has the ball in hand going forward. Good strength in depth is invaluable and Ireland seem to have that in abundance. Impressed with the Scots when they went wide exposing Irish defence and but for poor decision making at critical times, could have made the score closer, but no doubt about who was the better side.

I think that there are different fault lines across the 6 Ns teams but Ireland are the most comlete and have the best Coach.

Wales clearly better than Scotland comparatively.. :D

LOL you've only just realised? :D

Anyway, as fun as the game often was, both teams were quite sloppy at times, but of course Scotland more so. However much Scotland are now a (relatively) formidable force at home, their away form still seems barely better than Italy's. I also thought Murray's try was strikingly similar to a disallowed try in last night's Scarlets-Leinster game. All the same, as it happens even sans bonus point Ireland would still have won the Championship, so congratulations to them.
