Post Big Names back for Ireland clash
Ide like to see faletau Liam Williams North Halfpenny tiperic start against Ireland. Bigger on the bench. Nothing against the players that will have to make way.

I don't want Biggar back, I'd rather Patch or Anscombe, all we get with Biggar is kick chase, we need someone to get the back line moving.
I didn't want Halfpenny in the team before the Scotland game, but he appears to have found his kicking boots, so want him at 15, keep Evans on the wing, maybe North or Williams to the other wing.

Play the same squad members who performed well on Saturday and are still able to raise a gallop, our bench could be pretty good as we've had players who've performed very well who weren't expected to perform even moderately well by sections of the forum ...

If George North has escaped undamaged he'll be likely to start, perhaps.

I would change Faletau for Moriaty who is benched.

Then the backs

9. I don't like G Davies but who else :dontknow:
10. Patchell
11 Steff Evans
12 Parkes
13 North
14 1/2p
15 Liam Williams

Anscombe on bench so if Patch is having one of his "off "
days then get Anscombe on early.

I would go for a 6/2 split on the bench with 3 front -rows
Seb Davies,Moriaty & Tipuric
Backs - a scrum -half and Anscombe

Yeh, we seem to be at our lowest point for scrumhalves for several years.

I’d be tempted to bring in dee at hooker.

I don’t think you can play shingler and tipuric together at 6 and 7. So could try Davies or Jenkins at 7

Anscombe to play 10

Watkin moves to 13

Ken has been very solid these last 2 games...Tips is best used as an impact sub, he goes AWOL for too long for my liking to start these days.

1/2P at fb, North and Liam Williams to come in on the wings - after watching us against England, Ireland are likely to kick a-lot to our back 3 so I think we need to bring in the experienced guys to deal with that.
Regardless of whether Biggar is ready I'd start Anscombe and have Patchell on the bench.

Given that Faletau is apparently unlikely to be ready by then (for me if he's fit then he has to start), I'd stick with the rest of the team that started at Twickers.

Yes I see ken has made a few teams of the weekend

Apart from the kicking - which was atrocious- wales forwards defended well but offered very little in attack. Found it very hard to get over the gain line

Would be madness to replace Ken. Best No.2 we've had for years. Reliable, good defender. Good ball carrier. Does the basics well and rarely knocks on. We rarely lose lineout ball when he's throwing, too. I think we lost one lineout ball last six nations when Ken was at Hooker. This is a completely biased view and based on facts also. I just love him. :love4:
