Impressed with Scotland. They stood up to an arm wrestle and came through.

Good sides will hammer them, England wll put 30 or 40 on them..Still remember how they quit against Ireland a few years ago

If that's the 40-10 match at Murrayfield, we swept them aside that day; doubt we'll do that this year

Scotland improved considerably when Laidlaw was moved to ten. Had he started and not been on the bench against Wales, who knows what would have happened? Finn Russell certainly has been poor so far in the 6N. Anyway, given how Scotland only narrowly beat an inexperienced and error-strewn French team ranked tenth in the world, I really don't fancy their chances against England now.

I don't fancy our chances against England but we've won the last 5 6N matches at Murrayfield so anything can happen.
The positive from today is that even when playing poorly we found a way to win, that is enough to suggest to me that we're a team on the up. Was hoping for 3 wins in the 6N this season, going to be a really big ask but who knows.

Scotland will be fired up for England. They will give them a very good game. They will be the underdogs and that will suit them.

Yes they will indeed. However, I think Finn Russell is a problem for them. He needs to be far more consistent.

Yes, Scotland are overrated. When you play a real team and the game matters to that team, the result is all too familiar. The games against England and Ireland in the next 3 weeks will give proper perspective.

Glasgow's record in the ECC this year should be viewed in this context.

I can hear Nichol now....I imagine a 20+ point England win...only 30 less than last season :D , when Scotland were touted as world beaters once again

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

6 players were retained in Scotland ... Anthony Belleau, Jonathan Danty, Yacouba Camara, Louis Picamoles, Rémi Lamerat et Felix Lambey and were interviewed by police.

They returned yesterday and squad selection for Italy has been delayed until today pending any outcome.
