Yes, Biggar seems a backward step. Also think long term, the 15 should be LW.

Can't really see a win in Dublin but a good performance and a bonus point will set us up for the last two games.

Not sure if Biggar is the right guy to lead the change in Wales style of play.
It's a little bit like backtracking to keep both ways open.
Biggar/Steff to me doesn't go.
Biggar/North, yes!
Patchell/Steff, yes!
I'm a little disappointed but still, let's get behind our boys and hope that Gatland knows better than us.
Well, better than me, anyway. :D

reference Steff E, he needs a good one and v Ireland that won't be easy ... beware Sextoin's kick pass etc .

Sometimes we don't. Am hoping for a good showing and further evolution. A win maybe too much to expect at this stage.

Predictable and conservative

Liam is the best #15 in Europe, go figure...

Yes, my worry is Gatland has reverted to type.

We were good enough to go toe to toe at Twickenham, and had 1/2d been playing I honestly think we might have nicked it. We're certainly good enough to front up to Ireland. I don't think a win is out of the realms of possibility.

Agree but chances really no higher than 30%

Agree with both of you and for my money we do not now need Biggar
and 1/2p in the same team as it restricts our attacking capability too much.
So 1 or other please Gats not both.

With Biggar we do not need 1/2 for kicking.
With 1/2p we do not need Biggar at all if we
are trying to play this all court attacking game.

Imho Liam to 15 1/2p to 14 and with Patchell retained at 10
and Anscombe on the bench if Patch is having one of his blowing
"cold" days.

Didn't really want Biggar back, but then again as others have already mentioned this will be like the England game, a tight game, and its probably the safe and wise thing to do, bringing Biggar back. If we tried to throw it around against Ireland we'd probably come unstuck, we still have good hands at 12 to feed the backs, Parks will just have to do the best with whatever crumbs he gets off Biggar.

Disappointed for Patchell and Adams, as other have alluded to, I hope they don't end up on the scrapheap until the next big injury crisis.

IMO Adams looks far more the finished article than Evans. Might have been tempted to stick with him.

In the past when the likes of North and Cuthbert haven't been playing well, Gatland has stuck with them, now he has Adams straining at the leash to come in, I hope he gets another chance soon.

Depending on how Sat goes, theres always Italy to give the rest of the boys a run out.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing.
