Post Re: team to play ireland
On a day had luck was on our side, we could have scored 3 tries against England. In the last few campaigns we have not looked like scoring 3 tries in the whole series !!

We should not forget that fact before we mess around with the present side.

Its time for gatland to be ruthless and drop anyone who isent giving 100%. Drop scott Williams he didn't play great did he. He will get another chance if plays well.

I'd like to see us change it up a bit Dai, harsh on navidi and Moriaty but I'd like to see a little more

Although perhaps Falatau to 7 with Moriaty at 8 could be a way to go?... ;)

Apart from Anscombe, he got closer to scoring a Welsh try than anyone else did...

I like the side. Would prefer it if it had a second row, though. :D

It is going to be difficult to leave out Hallam Amos after a MOM in his last match.
Although Steff didn't do much wrong against England, he was easily marshalled by the England defence.
We could see this lineup:
15. Halfpenny
14. Liam Williams
13. Amos
12. Parkes
11. North
10. Patchell
9. Davies
8. Moriarty (Faletau if fit)
7. Navidi
6. Shingler
5. Hill
4. AWJ
3. Lee
2. Owens
1. Evans

But by the same token, Josh Adams did little wrong. He was replaced by North, but I dont see north doing any better than Adams.

It is getting to the stage now where we have to decide who to leave out as much as who to put in

And that can only be a good thing - real competition for places and strength-in-depth. Such phrases like "the team picks itself" and "injury crisis" should be sent to the dustbin of history.

I'd pick the same side that started against England bar putting Dan Biggar back in and Leigh Halfpenny at full back. I dunno but I thought that our centres played well and I particularly like Mr Hadleigh Parkes at 12. He steadies us. I think that Rhys Patchell didn't pull up any trees v England but he wasn't that bad! He's still a young player. However, I'd drop him from the 22 entirely which is sad but Gareth Anscombe changed the game when he came on so for me he'll be on the bench covering 10 and 15. I like Josh Adams, I like his pace and I like the way he takes the ball. I'd bring back Liam Williams to the bench and drop George North from the 22. Mr Falatau is a gimmee at 8 if fit so young Ross drops to the bench. That's it.

Most here have put Steff Evans into the team, I believe Josh Adams the better of the two, Evans seems to have good feet but little else, although his try against the scots was very good indeed, Adams hasn't been allowed the ball as much as Evans, but with a little space I think he will be the one the opposition has to stop.

If Amos is on the bench i will be astounded, if he plays i will post a picture of my ugly bare arse, if he starts in the centre, i will post a nude picture of myself in the frozen food aisle of Neath Tescos. :)
