French team

Le XV contre l'Ecosse : 15.Palis ; 14.Thomas, 13. Lamerat, 12. Doumayrou, 11. Vakatawa ; 10. Beauxis, 9. Machenaud ; 7. Camara, 8. Tauleigne, 6. Lauret ; 5. Vahaamahina, 4. Iturria ; 3. Slimani, 2. Guirado (cap.), 1. Poirot.

Les remplaçants : 16. Pélissié, 17. Ben Arous, 18. Gomes Sa, 19. Gabrillagues, 20. Picamoles, 21. Serin, 22. Belleau, 23. Fall.

The bench is very strong at forward!!

Beauxis back after 6 years. He has been playing very well for Lyon and his kicking is excellent ... that would be a very pleasant surprise!! :D

Doumayrou is a better better at centre but injuries still pollute the backs.

French front row should prove to strong for Sco for 80 mins?

Tauleigne is a young, in form, 8 who deserves his cap (Picamoles back on the bench, and Gordon injured).

However, Sco much more dangerous and cutting in the backs. French tackling was excellent against Ire ..all 238 of 'em ;)

If forwards win games...Fra could win this one?

Dupont sadly out for the Season and Jalibert out for some time and shouldn't dawn international level until his form and physique is much better honed.

France have been deteriorating since 2011, and this side is especially weak and inexperienced. I am sure Scotland will win (though probably not by much). In the meantime, France shall be fighting Italy over the wooden spoon.

Naj, with respect, everyone thought that we'd win easily in Paris and just look what happened to that; forced into a high-risk 45 yard DG to take the game. In fact their defence nullified us for much of the match.

As I've said on another thread, I just have a feeling it might be honours even, when the ref calls time on this one.

If you think there is no difference between France now and what they were like seven years ago, well...
