Post Ireland 6N squad.
Squad to be named today but Gerry Thornley (through inside info or other means) has said that Jordan Larmour will be included with the 20 year old being the only uncapped player in the squad. Other than this its pretty much as you were. Beirne and Zebo are looking like they will be excluded also.

Will include the actual squad in here later today when its official but don't expect it to be too different from this info if any different at all.

I tip Ireland to win the 6N, though probably sans Grand Slam.

That's a hell of a squad. England away will be the one. And us!

If Ireland play like their provinces do then I think they will win pretty comfortably. All their forwards play with a high intensity that most other NH sides don't. You need that intensity to match the likes of the ABs and at the moment Ireland are the only side who have it.

Eddie will have your boys grinding the Georgians pack into dust it seems during the off weekends of the 6 Nations.

Not sure that's such a good idea. Someone already checked and the English Lions players have already had more game time than their Welsh, Scottish and Irish counterparts. Very high intensity training is going to mean they are going to get no rest. We can't continue flogging the same group of players like this.

I am not sure when the start and end date of the chart is but you have to scroll down to 11th for the first Welsh player, 15th for Scottish and 21st for Irish.

Granted, some of it is due to the (arguably) more competitive nature of the Aviva compared to the Pro 14, as well as the fact that, in England, the union has less control over its players than in the other three British Isles teams, but also some of it can be explained by injuries, e.g. Jonathan Davies and Stuart Hogg. As a side note, for all the wealth and competitiveness of the Top 14, it is interesting that only one Lion (Laidlaw) plays in that league.
