The bugger of it is, NZ were always going to be a little vulnerable after three games in a week against Fronce - this could have been our best ever chance had we been able to field anywhere close to our strongest team.

Post Re: Wales v NZ Match thread
If Wales do really well tomorrow then it will be surprising to those of us with a similar view. That view is that Welsh rugby does not produce a depth of talent. Both sides have injury issues, NZ probably more so. However there is a depth in NZ rugby that Wales can only dream of (or so our theory goes :) ). So although NZ has been hit harder, the effect should be less. I think its a very poor Welsh team against a significantly weakened NZ side, NZ will win by around 20 pts in my view. If Wales win or perform really well, i will probably be contrite, explain how glad i am to be wrong and create a new reality that is as close to my former reality as it is possible for me to get, it would be to painful to change all my views and opinions to except that they are based on my own interpretation of "the truth" and may not be the truth at all. A bit like asking PhilBB to suddenly stop blaming the WRU for ruining the chances of the regions with the number of Autumn Internationals. After a while something will happen to enable me to go on blaming the development system, just as much as before, we will lose to Scotland or something and so it goes on.

If Wales get stuffed then we will have sack the coach threads, blame the ref threads, blame the union and blame the region. The pain of the of those people who think Wales have the quality to compete will be transferred into anger lashing out and searching for a short-term fix! Creating a new reality a new "truth" that is as close to their former one as possible. This is the reality of Welsh rugby, it is i suppose the reality of strongly held opinions, we believe we know the answer.

The answer will be delivered within 80 minutes of rugby, there wil be huge influences, luck being the main one. Yet we will be able to glean much, we will all be searching for the nuggets that back up our opinions when perhaps we should be searching for the nuggets that change our opinions. :dontknow:

But dont worry, like buses there will be another game along in minute and it all starts again

Case in point.
Just accidentally watched five minutes of Blues v Connacht.
Break away comes up five yards short. Quick recycle and it needs two passes for a simple try. First pass is flung six inches off the ground, second about five yards behind the man. Easy try botched.

And, not to forget Nick Williams boring his shoulder onto a defender negating an actual well-executed try.

Stupid little ballet dance which teams are forced to watch is over.

I think with the current set up, again little will change. Will need ABs to be well off today.
