I do not think it will be that one sided! Yes today did show that beyond the XV and bench you are suffering a paucity of talent, however Wales always produce a competitive team.
Will NZ win...yes, will it be easy or one sided? no.

Re: Wales v NZ Match thread
We've done ourselves a disservice by playing a second team there is no continuity to our team it was ludicrous in my opinion not to keep them together to play again, perhaps rest a few key players but, so many, most of them hadn't played with each other so the cohesion was not there. I will watch Scrum v if Gwyn Jones is on as he tells it as it is, not just to appease the players and coaches, was a *fupping* shocker, but I didn't expect too much from the team that was picked. Good night.

I predict Gatland will do a haka in a bright pink tutu and put so much fear into the ABs that they will run off the pitch screaming like little girls.

I predict that by Saturday KO time our expectations will far outweigh our chances, such is the historical mentality of the Welsh rugby fan.
I'm getting my optimism in early, comfortable win for us with Tom Francis MotM.

Re: Wales v NZ Match thread
You guys are too pessimistic.
This is an AB team missing its entire front row (Franks, Coles, Moody). Its best forward (Beautiful Brodie). Along with Jerome Kaino, Jordie Barrett, Israel Dagg, Ben Smith, Nehe Milner Skudder.
We've seen stuttering performances from the team with these guys missing, and Brodie, in particular, is the biggest loss of the bunch. He leaves a huge hole in the forward pack and also in the ability to run off the 10 in the midfield. None of our subs can replace what Brodie does.
This is the best chance Wales have had at a win in years. Granted you played like arse today, but we've seen bigger swings in a week. It wouldn't shock me if the ABs lost next weekend (I wouldn't like it obviously) - we haven't been playing well since the SA thrashing.

Re: Wales v NZ Match thread
I think that Wales will be competitive for 40-60 minutes.
New Zealand are missing some influential players and as Scotland showed today if you play an aggressive defence you can cause them issues. Obviously, Gatland needs to ensure that Wales are organised and have a game plan that the players can play too and key players actually understand.
The problems will arise when the substitutions come into play and the lack of depth is exposed.
AB's to win by 15-20 points in a horrible last quarter.

Re: Wales v NZ Match thread
yeah the ABs are not firing as usual but, we've had one game together as a team against the ABs we have to step up even further, what did that game against Georgia show us ....*not a lot* some of the selections were mind blowing, I was asked how Seb Davies went at 8 well my friend he is not a No8 and that's as kind as I can be,
