And the try was scored by an Osprey (shame he cannot seem to score any tries for his region. :D )

Been a great game for the neutral.

Now 44-38! (Say what you like about Wales and their often blunt attack, but they'd never have such lax defense as to concede nearly 40 points against a Tier Two team at home).

Mainly as the other team didn't have to score that many points to win..or do you have yet another theory?

Wales have only lost twice to Tier Two teams in the Gatland era - against Samoa in Nov 2012 when in some ways Wales were even more out-of-form than now, and the second-cum-third string team which lost to Japan in June 2013. It is not as if it is something that happens very often.

Can't be, Wales have already announced that they are going to win it.

I was expecting Scotland to do better than Wales in this years 6 Nations
But Scotlands flaws were in evidence today. So it is a question whether Wales
can exploit them.

In other words, can Wales' lack of attack still be outweighed by Scotland's lack of defence?

Not quite - its where you have the attacking strengths.
