Scoreline apparently still stuck on 14-3 well into the second half.

Semesa Rokoduguni scores a try. 21-3 with just over ten minutes to go. (It really has come to something when England rely on Fijians to beat the Argentines. As brilliant a coach as Eddie Jones is in many ways, I really dislike the way he has made the England team increasingly mercenary).

Nicolas Sanchez (imo one of the finest backs in the world) gets a consolation try. No conversion, thus 21-8.

To sum up: England were terrible, Argentina were worse !! Back to the drawing board Eddie;

Might have been more interesting if the Argies had a kicker.

A terrible game to watch.
Argentina looked limited but committed.
England were just clueless but manufactured a win.
Not sure if Eddie Jones knows what to do about his midfield as he tries so many options with the same non functioning results.

Some of the shots of Eddie's misery and outbursts in the stand were a joy to watch.

A team ethic seems a long way away......it was bland rugby.

Getting kinda tired of grinding out wins. All our games were grind fests in the 6N apart from Scotland, our tour of Argentina was closer than it should have been (although didn't feel like grinding) and now this. I've only felt we've really taken hold of the game against Scotland, every other time it's been too close. If we are to compete for the number 1 spot we need to stop doing the "wins and win" type wins and more of the sheer demolition wins. I'm yet to see the thinking on their feet organised chaos Jones talked about, I'm instead seeing robotic and unthinking attempts to smash through a defensive line and then telegraphed moves wide with nobody fixing the defence. 2016 England were on fire but I feel we have gone backwards this year.

England now have a grit and mental toughness they didn't have in the past which pulls us through many games but we still lack the tactical nous and skills to see us really compete with NZ.

Would happily swap places Troron; in a sense grinding out wins a nice problem to have
