Amazing how it's taken this long for other sides to realise forwards, particularly the front row, should all be able to pass accurately and even run into space.

In 2013, we had some Auckland Assistants come here to coach for a week or so, and after watching a game, we had a day of passing drills and offloads...no contact. They could believe how bad the basic handling skills were.

Was that in Wales or the US?
My location is a clue..
The point is that, to some extent, it could apply to either country. :D
I doubt Welsh clubs would take any coaching from outsiders
Why not? Their head coach and three of the four regional coaches aren't from Wales.
I think you will find that the regions supposedly are not clubs...
Fixed. Anyway, I think you'll find non-Welsh people involved in the amateur game are not so rare - Mumbles RFC has an Englishman and a South African among its principal members of staff, for example.
Presumably because they need the work, and Welsh people won't do it.. ;)
You really dislike Wales, don't you? (Seriously).

A wee bit overdue but ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/41611126 ) Richard Rowntree has finally weighed in on the subject!
Given his coaching record at the highest-level, I'm inclined to go with Rowntree's take, rather than on the SOB comments?

O'Brien has been rubbished and quite right too.

Personal animosity on the pitch is not as nauseating as personal animosity off it.

Is he got a book to be published soon or something? This wreaks of Henson's comments on Martyn Williams ... that book when he said he was in love for ever.
