In the future, i think there should be extra time, or sudden death, if its a draw in the series at the end of the 3rd test. If at the end of that 20 mins there is still no result then a draw it is. No tossing a coin or kicks at goal.

What do people want the future of rugby to look like?

When will there be a better opportunity to put the game right in the shop window? A game like this could be built into something with genuine global reach.

No it just cheapens it. Kills the goose, you cant return to the moment , its gone, the priorities have gone the significance has gone. It would ruin the whole concept.

I don't see the problem with leaving it as a draw. Bugger me, the cricketers play for a whole week and are happy with a draw. If the result is a draw then that reflects the fact that the two teams are even. Why under those circumstances should the rules be changed to create a false result?

Agree in regards retrospective game ... however, i would say extra time at that moment would only have added to the occasions ????

Too sensible, it'll never take on.

My suggestion, replay the match, reverse Poite's decision in the last moment and we have a result.
Easy as.
Apologies for insincerity and sarcasm just think we have to move on and leave a fond memory of an excellent test series where a shared result is no bad reflection of it?

The Barbarians play the All Blacks on 4 November. That is of interest to rugby nerds.

Make that the Lions v All Blacks and Sky it up (... the showdown, the shootout, whatever) and every sports fan will be interested.

Make the game a good spectacle and rugby is the winner.

Difficult for me as I thought the ball went backwards into his arms. Sam explains it better towards the end of the post match interview next up on youtube.

On the other hand: perhaps there is a God?

No.
This is at an end. Gatland should now come back and do his job for Wales

no future Welsh coach should be allowed to coach the Lions whilst in contract. its been a distraction.

Its rare a series is drawn so lets keep it like that. Rugby matches have draws, so why not whole series?

I'm not a big Lions fan anyway but the last test I gave some thought to me being a fan again...but this morning I think I'm back where I was...Wales getting to and winning a world cup final is more important to me than the Lions nowadays.

lets move on.

The captains should have a fight in their pants. Winner takes all.
