Should be easy there's about 45 of them on this trip thanks to Gatland.... Look um in the eye's and win it for the Lions butt.

Nowt wrong with that, some spùnk in making that selection?

Picked on form (some recent) ...I like types like O'Mahony, Liam W et al they're mean ...it's a get in their faces team ....

Can't wait for kick off ...

As a side note I'll have to look for a new signature tag line now had this one for 4 years.

The way you lot lay out your team announcements is as annoying as the yanks doing month/day/year.

I know it is hard enough for you Kiwis to count to 15 when they are in the correct sequence so understand your frustration. ;)

Not sure our back row will have the right balance but best if luck to O'Mahony. He is a real warrior and to come back from his horrendous injury as he has shows the measure of the man. I had an argument with a big Leinster supporter (I work in Dublin) back in May when I argued that he would be my #6. Am glad Warburton was not picked at 6 as you have to pick the best player in their best position.

Not convinced O'Brien is the best pick at #7 if you are looking for balance but he is nevertheless a whole hearted player who will carry incredibly well.

Well done Gatland - I am shocked at some of the selections, but done on form.

I still don't like how he has gone about the tour - feels like almost every professional player is in the squad now.... and I don't think those "out of form" - such as North, Halfpenny etc. have really had the chance to regain the form.... but I do like the balance of the team in the main.

I think another good left field shout by Gatland.

I think pre-tour you had put this up as the first test team
how many would have put P O'M as captain,I reckon it would
have gone something like

95% - A-W J
4% - O Farrell
1% - anyone of the other 13

That team pretty much picks itself, apart from the back 3. wasn't expecting that, but is players who have shown form. have to feel a bit for North as he hasn't really been given the chance to show any form. 2 games against the maori and crusaders where the backs didn't get the ball at all. can only imagine what he could have done if given the chance like the other backs in the chiefs game as when on form like the ireland game in the 6 Nations he is almost unplayable. also think biggar has shown more form than sexton but don't think he was ever going to play.

don't understand 1/2p on the bench. not sure how he's a game changer or what he brings if needed. especially as both watson and daly cover 15.

moral must be high in the lions camp with that selection as daly and williams have forced their way into the test team from the midweek game. so much for not doubling up in test week :D

Clearly counting from 1-15 or even in reverse is too new fangled for you lot. No wonder you play like it's still 1950.
