I'd keep Gatland and Edwards and get rid of the rest

Voted to go now. Our coaching staff have been there far too long. They are too conservative and prone to cronyism (Howley and the Blues). Everyone else is evolving and we are not. Just one example, this new "expansive" game we hear about. How does that warrant the continual select of a very out of form Halfpenny at fullback with our best counterattacking fullback on the wing? There are a lot of problems right now, some that can be directly attributed to the coaches e.g. selection. Good God, up until two games ago Cuthbert was still starting, the man hasn't had a good performance in two years.

Keep Gatland but kick him upstairs coaching development something like that ,Edwards the same , the howler has to go give some of the coaches that are working with the age groups the nod,

I would keep gatland but get rid of the rest including Edwards

Wales defence is great but selection is geared to defence

2019 is the problem .....

too late ....

I think that Gatland should've been replaced when he went to Lions again (I believe that there is an open option both ways Gatland and Union).

Gatland appears to like dominance and his absence creates vaccuum and he's passé now too.

Buggered now, can't play with the team imo because a new Head Coach is required and whoever it is will want his own team.

So buggered ... limp along until after 2019 and poor results beckon .

PS Poll options don't hold water.

This, with the possible exception of Jinx. but I am not even sure of that.

Do we still have the same fitness coach we had 4 years ago?

Oh, and have a no lions jollys clause in the contract

Gatland until 2019 and maybe Edwards beyond that (notwithstanding the wobble last Summer, Wales' defence does actually remain one of the best in the world).

We are just wasting our time with Howley and Mcbride. Why when Gats contract was up after the last World Cup was there so many takers same with Edwards, but howley and mcbride virtually ran there contracts out with not even a rumour of any takers? To me Dai Young should be encorparated into the setup now as assistant coach (think Henry and Hansen look how well that has worked) he's the only viable option for next home based head coach. Plus we can't afford to pay gats off before 2019 and pay any body else head coach wages

Not sure about the fitness coach?

It's that Stridgeon (sp) now but seem to remember we recently lost a kiwi to the NFL? Or have I made that up :dontknow:

As for the coaches, I'd do as Andrew has suggested

Not sure if that means I have an agenda or not?

The Lions squad has a good chance of being one of the best forba while. Therefore, if Gatland can do it with the Lions (which I would expect to see made up of English players). Then it is worth askiny whether it is our players that are the issue.

If his game plan can be adapted to play in a way that suggests that 'Warren ball' is mainly a Welsh style, restricted by what we have then I think Gatland deserves more credit. If we find that he picks English players and imposes a Warren ball and loses, then maybe we need to reconsider.

Why on earth would you keep Gatland, its his style of rugby that we are now trying to change without much success, he has ingrained a style that eludes rugby and champions the physical,
I understand that todays rugby player must be physical which I think we would have become with out him without loosing our identity.
Now we are trying to teach old dogs new tricks, come 2019 he has to go.
