On form:

15. Liam Williams
14. KEELAND GILED
13. ASH BECK
12. Scott Williams
11. Leigh Halfpenny
10. SAM DAVIES
9. Gareth Davies
8. Toby Falatau
6. OLLY CRACKNELL
7, JUSTIN TIPURIC
5. AWJ
4. Jake Ball
3. Samson Lee
2. SAM PARRY
1. NICKY SMITH

8 starters for me on form. Ross Moriarty probably will start given his fine international form recently. CRACKNELL is on fire though.

Bench (form):

16. Richard Hibbard
17. Rob Evans
18. Thomas Francis
19. Luke Chateris
20. Ross Moriarty
21. TOM HABBERFIELD
22. DANIEL BIGGAR
23. George North

Two more on bench. 10/23 just under 45% of match day squad. Ospreys are way out in front as the best region and team. Arguably Wales without Ospreys players v full Ospreys side, Ospreys win. Blues are the biggest under performers, they're awful given their big names and Southern Hemisphere midfield - in all fairness the two Blues centres are by far the best in Wales. Matevassi is also better than any Welsh centre. Our centres are shocking.

pretty much agree with that selection, though if Webb is fit would go for him, and pray we must have a better TH than Lee (reasonably solid in tight but is otherwise a dinosaur from a bygone era).

I finally understand what 'In form' means. It means whoever played half decent in the last game you watched.

If you are a fan of a certain team you are more likely to notice the form of your players.

Dacey, Hewitt, Boyd, young, griffiths, beard all unlucky not to make your form team

You think a team playing in the Challenge Cup can match up to international teams?

That misses the point - the Ospreys had a bad season last time round due to the large number of call-ups for the World Cup, several injuries and a large number of then inexperienced young players. Looking at England's latest Test selections, the bulk of the team seem to come from Saracens, Wasps, Harlequins and Bath - the latter two teams also in the Challenge Cup. However, in answer to the OP's question, I don't think the Ospreys are such a force as they sort of were back in 2008 (though they are on the road to being so again, now that their younger players are getting noticeably better), so it would have to be more of a balance of feeder teams.

Why ask the question if you already know the answer? Need a hobby?

I wasn't the one who started this thread. LOL.

I think there is an case to just pick O's and Llanelli players along side the good players from England (and Halfpenny) as the Newport and Cardiff lot look incapable of playing the game. Newport and Cardiff cannot do the basics well enough for the P12 never mind the 6 Nations.

Must be something to do with the population or TV deal.
