The standard has been poor overall.

Wales women have been terrible.

It reflects the attitude of the nation to be honest, a lot of Welsh people would actively support a Welsh man in tiddly winks, we get posts on here about Welsh athletes, cyclists, golfers, but Welsh women playing rugby, nah couldn't give two *fups* mate.

They made the Black Ferns look like worldbetters :D

I did like the Haka against Canada, it was more scary than the men ;) :D

Because they scream even louder? :D Anyway, so far I have only watched England vs Spain, which needless to say was very one-sided. However, I did follow the women's Sevens in the Rio Olympics just as much as the men's, and I have to say that it is noticeably less physical.

 Congratulations to the Black Ferns for making the final.

Hope you manage to recover from the last game enough to overcome the Pom's.

Lots of high tackles around in the women's games these days ... yellow cards every now and again ..... it's all going very masculine very quickly. Running to touch the ball when it was well across the touch line, pushing players "away from the ball" when the ball was 10 yards away and over the dead ball line ....

One commentator mentioned poor refereeing and not enough red cards.

Unbelievable comment ....

:(

Who's refereeing the Final?

The refereeing has been to the letter of the law, which is refreshing, takes out a lot of the inconsistencies that infuriate everybody

Ah, you've missed a lot then. Look closely at the French ladies and New Zealand ladies throwing their ample weight around.

Tut tut.

Cracking game 17-10 to England half time.

It's good stuff.

England looking better than I thought they'd be and New Zealand scored first and last.

Nothing in it and the officials are making good decisions.

New Zealand looked strong when they had to and you have to congratulate them for their mental toughness when they were too far behind for comfort.

First score, as usual, will be important this half.

C'mon New Zealand. Let's see a bit of class.

I didnt see the game but it looks like a great final.

Interesting try awarded on approx 3:50 video time... NZ 10 stopped short, places ball then regathers ball and pops it up, in total plain view of ref, clear penalty. This, this is being allowed week in week out, by most refs, even though it is clearly and obviously an offence.

It was a cracking game to watch for what it was, if you compare it to watching the men's Blacks against England then it was not very good and unlikely to draw the crowds from men's rugby.
