 Moriarty picked for Gloucester tonight?
Is that because Wales released him? Cant work it out, Howley doesnt rate him and thinks he needs more game time maybe

7 days isn't it therefore he can play. I read yesterday that North is due to play against Newcastle as well

I understand North playing but Moriarty is a head scratcher. Perhaps Howley hopes he picks up a knock and can pick Faletau without a storm being brewed?

Re: Moriarty picked for Gloucester tonight?
It was on TV here and I watched it last night. Hibbard has lost weight and looks very fit, and was excellent. Moriarty did very little in the game, which I believe is the norm for him. People remember big collisions, but that has very little to do with winning tight games. I like to see my 6 making around 15 tackles and defending the short side consistently and slowing down ball, making the odd turnover. Don't need any highlight reel stuff. How many of the big hits resulted in turnovers? I can't recall any.

Yep, he's a crunching tackler. Alix was sooo unlucky. Between the disagreements with Gatland and his various injuries, including that shoulder op putting him almost back to full fitness, he ended his career being forced to go into business and become a multi-millionaire.
