Post Kevin Sinfield, Rugby League great......................
........has signed for Rugby Union (with Yorkshire Carnegie) at the age of 34.

Too old to really make a go of the swap, but one hell of a symbolic move. It should have our RL troll "NewSouthWales" crying into his bedtime glass of warm milk.

Daft signing IMO, he obviously didnt come cheap, it'll take him at least a season to adapt, and for the money they have shelled out pretty confident they could have landed a ready made player. As Sleeps says nowt as queer as fowk ;)

I almost laughed when I heard. As he said to C Balding on BT Sport a few weeks ago, he had a couple of offers yrs ago.

Balding said he's her favourite sportsman in the world, she's a Leeds Rhinos supporter.

Lol, well, maybe, maybe not. But I think most will think, he's 34, what's all that about?

Also D Maguire wants to see if he can win a Final as the dominant halfback at Leeds, and Coach McDermott is wanting Liam Sutcliffe to play in the halves now, K Sinfield hasn't played in the last 3 Leeds matches. Not sure if K Sinfield would have bn in the Leeds 1st team nxt yr. Now he'll be with Yorkshire Carnegie, 'Yorkshire'? What's that about? Another great idea from some tweed wearing former public schoolboy, like World Rugby.
