Post BARBARIANS.
I have not seen much media news on tomorrow's All BLacks v Barbarian game at Twickenham. Apparently the Barbarians do not have one single European player in their team, which is made up of 13 New Zealanders' , 4 South Africans and a hand full of A N Others. Now come on is this not a contravention of the Trade Description Act. I know at this time with the Autumn Internationals pending it would have caused many logistic problems, but would it have been better to turn out a British and Irish Lions team and give them caps, and make it the unofficial decider of the recent series down under.

Apart from this, is it time for the Barbarians to be disbanded?

The almost eternal question that's been around since before rugby union went professional.

And it's still going on and on and on ............. as is the charity work ....

Maybe you should ask the NH powers that be why they have no players in the Barbarians ?

By the way the British and Irish Lions series is now in the rugby history books.

HTH :D

These Micky Mouse games are a joke; just like the 1970's famous Gareth Edwards try one. Rugby is about winning with a blend of attack and defence; not chucking the ball around with gay abandon from anywhere in between the dead ball lines. Only 60,000 Englishmen would pay big money to watch that stuff; for me I would rather watch Aberflyarf 2nd Xv play Glamorgan Wanderers 28 th XV.

Then feel free to do so... God knows the club game in Wales needs more funding.

What, one god? I do appreciate the title but I don’t think I’m a very influential god, not even really a god I suppose. But I’ll take what I can get.
