That's why props should stay out of midfield.

Best 8 (in the tight or in the loose) so far this series and probably the best game they have played, the most physical 8 about and on track for 2011.

Saffer backs no better than ordinary.

England totally undone, too many errors, too much dumb football, too many forced passes and not tough enough!

A vital lesson.

SA not out of trouble yet. Forwards were good but the backs another story. Constant wrong options all the way through. Completely failed to capitalise on a massive penalty count, territory and posession all in their favour from the forwards.
England knocked down a peg or 2 - first game they've come up against a brutal pack and it showed. No real ball and a load of individuals running around. Lost all their structure under pressure. Young time though.

Bokpower- 'Pound for pound they are better than England'

Well i might disagree about that as England have always had a good to very good pack with the World cup winning pack of 03 possibly the best ever. However, i digress, but what interested me was the size of the respective packs and if as you say the Bok pack is better pound for pound, well, they may well have to be as i saw that the relative average size of both packs was

South Africa- 6 Feet 3 ins and 16 stone 11 pounds

England- 6 Feet 4ins and 17 stone 7 ponds

So thats over half a stone per man advantage which could come in to play as the match progresses, which i can't wait to see. As Geech said in 97 a wounded Springbok is a dangerous animal and as such i look forward to the clash of both teams and packs.

Your pack got well and truly F**KED :thefinger:

"*fupped*", I would say *fupped* much more than Abe Lincoln was when he said to his wife, I'm sick of sitting around the house, let's go to the theatre.

Bismark m-o-m. England bad injured. Eng. players injured running into the Boks and it showed. When Frans Steyn moved to 15 and Adi Jacobs came on centre our backline started moving. Mvovu had a great game. But yes our pack had total dominance and score could have been higher
