I don't know about low class, but competing with the old Firm is something of an onerous ask.

Interesting tackle law ruling from the referee ;)

Good win, Glasgow seemed overexcited at the start which led to mistakes.

Hope we get Leinster in the final to see if we can do better this time.

A terrific win for the Scarlets. They won that comfortably despite Gareth Charles hyping Glasgow’s partial fight back.
Patchell and Owens outstanding.

Glad to get the win. Good point being made by the pundits - maybe Glasgow rusty after no rugby for three weeks, maybe going straight to a home semi final isn't such a benefit.

Good win, well coached

Irrespective of what happens in the final it will be hard to look past pivac and his team for the wales job

Stuck the boot into Rennie a little bit by saying he was disappointed with certain aspects of the performance

Magnanimous in a victory.

I would like to distance myself from that ugly remark by Langland Exile. Not nice and IMHO not necessary.
I thought that Glasgow showed tremendous resolve but just lacked the finesse.
Glasgow with that performance would have rocked many sides, but they lacked the ability to finish and made too many tactical errors and a number of stupid infringes. Also, too many of their players hung onto the ball too long and eventually died with it. Van der Merwe was a case in point. Very nuggety hard to bring down but no ability to find his teammates.
Scarlets, on the other hand, was a class act in finishing, notwithstanding being second best in the loose exchanges by a very aggressive Scots team.
I might add that it was a good warm-up for the final against Munster or Leinster.
I thought McNicol was a few games short of match fit. Some of his decisions were not that great.
Gareth Davies had glimpses of coming back to his best but was a bit slow in clearing the ball. This will not do against the Irish.

Can’t argue with a deserved victory tonight and like others, hoping to meet Leinster in the final to decide who is the best side in Wales, Scotland, Italy and Ireland. Oh, hang on, we already know who are the best team not only in our league, but in every league, and that is Leinster by a country mile.
The play offs are a sham in my opinion, let’s say Munster beat Leinster and we beat Munster, does that make us the best team in the pro 14,, not in my opinion. We all know that on the day, most teams can beat other teams in the pro 14, but it does not prove that the most consistent team - irrespective of International call ups, which affect every nation - should be declared pro 14 champions because they win a 2 game play off, it’s a bloody farce. How can anyone think that Leinster do not deserve to be champions is beyond me and also why play such games which could, and has happened in the past through unnecessary injuries at this stage of the season, effect national touring squads. God knows we are seriously weakened at the moment, can we really afford to lose more players because the powers to be think that the most consistent team be subjective to a play off series, crazy !

Good point.

Rennie's team had very poor discipline and strategy. Hope on this showing he does not get the Wales job. His curious selections did not pay off either.

It's not ugly, it's merely accurate.

The Glasgow team were overly aggressive, and took a number of cheap shots at Scarlets' players, some of which the referee caught. They were beaten by a better team, and the constant booing of the referee was in very poor taste. Ibrox manners, not fit for rugby.

Toast to Hadrian, and I for one wish the wall was far far higher.... :P :D
