I'd certainly put Cubby in ahead of him.

The Scarlets last week (including Cubby) were almost as dire against Benetton as the Ospreys were against the Kings tonight. Anyway, that was ridiculous. The Ospreys only just about scored a bonus point try against 13-man Kings. They really look lost as a team, in more ways than one. Considering that the Ospreys had the BEST attack in the Pro 12 last season (apart from Leinster), what the hell has happened to them?

I think 90% of Wales would put Cubby ahead of any other 7 in Wales.
But Gats has the final call.
We are going to need Cubby against Ireland.
No 7 in Wales gets more turnovers than him.

we need to find out whether Cubby can do the same at the next level...pretty obvious but it is Wales

I think we should be past that point, but it may be the only opportunity. Much will depend where Warburton is going to play, i and when fit?

I watched Wasps vs Exeter yesterday, which was a real street fight, and came away thinking that Cubby lacks the physical presence of a Warburton or similar to dominate at the very top level.

Only one way to find out...but please let him play against Ulster and Leinster if Wales does not plan to use him.

I wonder :D
Cubby is very quick around the park. TBQH I think he could be a good 13 like his brother Foxy.
Any thoughts?
I think his preference for the 7 berth is that he likes the physicality of the position.
With the persistent problem of centres in Wales, it is worth a throw of the dice.
Firstly for Scarlets and secondly for Wales.
I wonder if this has ever entered the mind of Wayne Pivac?

As there ever been a circumstance where a mobile backrow forward as made a move to centre in top-level senior rugby......... not one i can think of. I personally think that Tipuric or Cubby would have to drop to the Premiership to play rugby as a centre and thats more of a reflection of the state of the Premiership than anything i have seen that makes me think they're a backs with forwards jerseys on.

I said the same thing about Ritchie Pugh about 10 years ago, nobody listened then and they still aren't listening now  :D

I know it's going back a bit, but Martyn Williams was never exactly physically dominant, yet was one of our best sevens ever because he was an extreme nuisance and a good link with the backs. I think Cubby is in the same niche.

Just seen on BBC Sports News Wales.
Highlights: Ospreys 26-12 Southern Kings
Highlights! They've got to be joking.

The biggest highlight was when the referee blew the whistle to bring the game to its conclusion. :D

Didn't the Scottish centre Peter Horne used to play in the back row?
