Dragons heading in the right direction now. I dont think they will be last this year, or next year.

Brilliant try from the Dragons, Henson showing you do not need to be quick to make a break, just need to lay what is in front of you.

Well done Ashton Hewitt. Bar a major disaster, the Dragons have won! 32-27.

Spoke too soon. Still, the conversion was missed, so 32-32 FT.

3 points for the Dragons, so more than just a good performance. Shame they could not hold out at the end though.

32 - 32 FT Draw. 3 points each.
The Dragons are on the up, maybe. :dontknow:
Just a few more good players in their pool and they could be thereabouts next year.
A really good game to watch, Dragons came back from the dead to almost win but had to settle for a draw.
It was a credible draw for Dragons against an Ulster side tieing for second place with Leinster.
I thought Henson's control of the game was masterful. He is really getting the best out of all the youngsters around him.
A word for the youngster Babos, what a scrummy, I see a great future for him. I was particularly impressed with his decision making.
What I really liked about him was that he hardly kicked the ball away willy-nilly the whole match. Once maybe twice, the rest of the game he kept the ball with either his backs or forwards.
I think we are witnessing the birth of a new competitive Region. :D

A very talented performance by the Dragons !! Some class players on display marshalled efficiently by Gavin Henson. 65,000 spectators will not see a game anywhere near as entertaining tomorrow at the P.S. It only goes to show that many of our top Internationals are clogging up valuable slots in the Pro 14 Regions, some not giving 100 %, some on long term injuries, and all of them raping their region of non existent funds to pay their exorbitant wages. Shove our Internationals off to England and France, and leave the Pro 14 for young exuberant guys who give their all from start to finish.
Dan Babos is a talented player, and Ollie Griffiths dynamic, and the Dragons pack shoved Ulster all over the park. The passing was crisp and fast; well done guys.

Passionate performance but if dragons made less mistakes then would have won.

The performance reflected the change in culture and increased effort. Some of the quality was questionable

Griffiths showed up well again. Surely a matter of time before in Welsh squad. Joe Davies... just turned 22 and getting a run of games at lock. Won’t reinvent the wheel but has the dimensions

Good performance and an entertaining game, but to put it in perspective; they conceded on average 50 points in their two previous games in the League. So on the back of this performance, we are predicting great things and pushing people into the Welsh team, i suppose thats what we do in Wales. Then again, even the longest journey starts with a single step.

From the highlights reel I saw - well Henson looked so good! He looked fast enough for his break for the fourth try too. He is just so accurate and it looks effortless doesn't it.

Hope he stays injury free as he is clearly giving his all too the region in a really professional way and that can only be good for the region's youngsters. Such a shame Wales have missed his clinical edged for the last 6 or so years! How we could do with him now - a younger Henson was have no one to rival him in the centre that is for sure!

“I had already offered Gavin an extension before this match,” said the Gwent region’s head coach Bernard Jackman.

“Gavin is a great professional – he will be here next season, On and off the field he’s been a good influence.

“He coaches the youngsters and is in fantastic shape. He hasn’t missed one training session since he’s been here and does everything right to play for 80 minutes.

“I thought Gavin was great against Ulster – he was much more confrontational and aggressive.”

Very impressive performance considering the teams on paper. They will only improve once Amos, Dee and Hill return.
