The bonus point try. 30 - 17 to Scarlets after 70 minutes.

What is the point of Matthew Morgan?

Ken Owens could not run over Matthew Morgan and butchered a try

We should let the Blues get a try for a bonus point.
Not going to happen now.

Solid, if too many defensive lapses...

bit of a gap to Ulster in third now, which we will need once the entire team gets called up.

FT Scarlets 30 Blues 17.
TBQH I was disappointed with the all-round play of the Scarlets.
We appear to have lost the cohesion shown last year.
I still can't see us beating any of the top sides in Europe or even the top two Irish sides or even Glasgow.
We stuttered and started against the Blues often kicking away good ball or just running into a blind alley while we had unmarked players.
They were all guilty of this but I'm afraid to say that the most guilty was Ha'penny, but he set the standard. Even Jonny McNicholl was sucked into the kick and ask questions while he had men outside of him.
We need to have a good look at ourselves and not kid ourselves by a bonus point win against a team like the Blues.

We have only played three games against any team of note this year and have lost all three.
Against Ulster, we went down 27 - 20.
Against Toulon, we went down 12 - 20.
Against Bath, we went down 13 - 18.
And, only just beat Ospreys 19 - 18.
We are going to need a giant step up if we want to retain the Pro 14 Championship.

While not exactly Test level quality, it was certainly a much better match than the Liberty Stadium dross the previous night. Disappointing and ironic, however, that fewer people came for this Welsh derby than for the Bath match in the rain the previous week. Steff Evans MUST start in the Wales squad!

Fixed. Otherwise, point taken.

He is skinny and runs around a lot. Sort of like Liam Williams only without any defensive abilities.

Well if anyone's interested, we beat Ulster, 25-10.

Lads……?

I did watch it on TV. While it was a reasonably fast and intense match, I thought both teams' set-piece was abysmal a lot of the time - so many collapsing scrums and shoddy lineouts!

Ken the Captain fell over him once at the end.
