Kings had a lot of style, but they will need to improve a great deal to compete in this league. The alternative is to challenge the Italians for the spoon.

The Scarlets appear to have quality in depth and Wayne Pivac faces a big problem in who to leave out.

The season is long and arduous. Having players in depth gives the coach the ability to rotate players. I do not think it is a case of who to leave out but who to rest.

Take a 'beast of burden' like Rob Evans, I don't think he missed starting in one Scarlets game the whole of last season only to be injured so he couldn't make the Wales summer tour, sad!
I think the coach may be able to be a little kinder to him this season. :D

Actually, Rob was injured last season until November, and was only gradually reintroduced into the squad.
