Ospreys: S Davies, B Davies, Tipuric, Webb, James, Howells, Baker, Smith, R Jones, King, Baldwin, Ardron, Mujati.

Blues: L Williams, Anscombe, Cuthbert, Dacey, E Jenkins, G Jenkins, N Williams, Morgan, Hoeata and several Pacific islanders.

Dan Evans has Wales caps (as does Navidi, as someone pointed out). Nick Williams doesn't have any caps, and of the three "pacific islanders" Filise has Tonga caps and Lee-lo has Samoa caps. Halaholo is uncapped (though may have age-grade NZ caps).

Not sure you could really call Howells, Evans, Navidi, Hoeata and Filise internationals though - they haven't been capped for a very long time, and have no more than a handful each. I think Navidi has just one, and that as a substitute.

Whichever way you look at it, the Blues were better than The Ospreys on Saturday. Whether their players are better on average is a different point but Anscombe played better than Davies, Lloyd Williams played better than Webb and so on. This may be a one off or not. Or it may indicate that given the right conditions these players are better?

on and off field should be synchronised and they are not

no good coaching the players you cant pay for.

agreed?

I think many Welsh coaches take an even more conservative approach and don't bother coaching the players they can pay for.

The Scarlets have developed good talent but it leaves for greener pastures as Liam is doing and North before him. Shrewd acquisitions of Barclay and Parkes have helped.

Shame there is no demand for the product.

A season ticket costs less than one game ticket for Wales..
