I haven't watched the match yet, but it looks like a good win by the Scarlets, notwithstanding the scoreless second-half.

The return of Patchell was significant. Once he went off the tryfest stopped.

Made me wonder if he will be ahead of Sam Davies for the Welsh 10 shirt from now on. Had a great tour in NZ summer before last so already proven his credentials in the big arena.

Good points. In fairness, however, Dan Jones has been quite promising too as his understudy, notwithstanding the Leinster massacre the other week.

Yes, I agree about Dan mate and my comment wasn't meant as a criticism of him. Just saying that Patchell looked every inch an international 10.

That's good to hear. Add in anscombe decent return & hopefully they can all push each other onto better things.

I'm sure someone will use this as examples of strength in depth but I prefer competition for places.

And hook & Henson are back next season to make things interesting :twisted: :D
