Most tries scored

(1) Leinster = 76
(2) Ospreys = 64
(3) Glasgow = 55
(4) Munster = 54
(5) Ulster = 47

Fewest tries conceded

(1) Munster = 25
(2) Ospreys = 28
(3) Ulster = 32
(4) Scarlets/Connacht = 34

Most points scored

(1) Leinster = 551
(2) Ospreys = 475
(3) Munster = 436
(4) Glasgow = 405
(5) Cardiff Blues = 372

Fewest points conceded

(1) Ospreys = 242
(2) Munster = 247
(3) Ulster = 250
(4) Leinster = 280
(5) Connacht = 302

Best points difference

(1) Leinster = +271
(2) Ospreys = +233
(3) Munster = +189
(4) Ulster = +105

Tellingly, the only two teams to feature in all these lists are Ospreys and Munster, who as I said in another thread are probably the two most improved Pro 12 teams compared to last season.

One has nothing to do with the other..Leinster dominate in scoring with almost double the try count of the fifth place team and are in first place....what does that prove? :shock:

Leinster, notwithstanding their problems in Europe last season, were already a strong team last season compared to both Munster and Ospreys. Also, until Leinster's record 70-6 win against Zebre in January, it was the Ospreys who had scored the most tries in the league and had the biggest points difference.
