I agree. It should also be noted their backline has been on the vanguard of Wales' slowly but surely improving performances.

They look better with Parkes in midfield frankly...

Actually, it is true the Scarlets tend to do better during international periods than outside them, in contrast to other teams like Ospreys, Blues, Glasgow etc. Can't understand why though.

How many Glasgow players in the jock 23 tomorrow?

They still havn't got their squad depth sorted.

Er, try again.

We had England by the throat yesterday, the back row was outstanding and still we managed to lose.

It wasn't as bad as Sanjay's brain fart against South Africa but Foxy's final kick into open spaces rather than slamming the ball into touch had the same result.

I appreciate that our worst defender, who should have been changed on the hour and replaced by a Scarlet, failed to successfully defend 60 or 80 square yards of turf.

Steffan would have done it easy ....

After the 0-3 start, we have won 10 of 11, with the no show against the Ospreys the only blip

I wouldn't quite call it a no-show. You held your own considering that you had three yellow cards against you.

Scarlets had 11 on international duty.

It seems that the gap between the first and second choice Scarlets players is not as big as with e.g. Ospreys and Glasgow.

I think that mostly boils down to the pack. The pack is more or less the same throughout the season. I think Boyd/Cubby (for Barclay) Wyn Jones (for Rob Evans), Elias (for Ken) and Kuger (for Samson) are not far off their international counterparts and Beirne is turning out to be one of the best second rows the Scarlets have had in years..
