Yes, quite watchable, with both sides playing a yard or two offside all night :D

James Davies was excellent, and the Scarlets held their defensive patterns well.

I think what happens on the plastic pitches is that everyone tried to offload everything, and it backfires once in a while...Scarlets got a lot of turnovers by being in the Glasgow attack line, and not behind the ball..I thought Gregor would figure it out, but...

Scarlets doing the double is payback for the way Glasgow ran riot against them last season both in the league and in Europe.

Pivac has done a good job with limited funds, the players are improving and the effect of caching is plain to see.

Getting smarter too, Cubby has a knack of knowing when to go in, when not to, showed great discipline last night

In.
Oli Kebble 24 year old prop from Stormers seen as a "Project Player" but also being courted by Munster i think.
Huw Jones Scotland centre from Stormers
Brandon Thompson 21 year old Fly Half from Stormers (about 6 appearances) on 2 month contract. Played for SA U20s at last junior RWC and has a Scottish father !!
Callum Gibbins Flanker from Hurricanes. (Not confirmed) but too old to be a project back rower.

Out
Simone Favaro last season player of the season but injured fairly frequently.

Rumoured to be going as out of contract
MARK BENNETT !!! (Hopefully to Embra) but he has already played in the Clermont academy so would not surprise me if he headed back there (Or Montpellier with BVC)
Josh Strauss. Rumour has it he may be headed to France or England as wages are too steep for Glasgow
Gordie Reid although would be surprised as the Canadian lad, Puafisi and Murray low are all heading out leaving 2 props plus Kebble if he arrives and he has started the majority of ERC games depite sometimes dodgy scrummaging.
Richie Vernon although again he may be sent to the Home for unwanted Weegies at Murrayfield/Myreside

Hogg,Russell, and Rories Hughes and Clegg have all signed new deals.

Good grief.
Must keep my ear a bit closer to the ground !!
Dave Rennie new coach must know what he wants.
Expect new arrivals.
Glad to see Bennett going to Embra.
