Not really, very few go to home games. I will be interested to see if the Scarlets' season ticket numbers go up after least season's successes.

I hope they do, but...I doubt it

True, this away match support is a myth other than in certain exceptional Clubs and local derbies.

Offsite matches excite big crowds for the ´event', to allow above capacity gate and sometimes to try and promote rugby in footy
domains and for the uniqueness. It is, however, inceasing in popularity.

It will also increase in playing prime games in other countries and this has already started too, some to promote the busines interests of the owners and not necessarily for gate incentive.

The world is changing.

Has anyone any figures on the number of South Africans living in the UK and Ireland?

The UN estimates there to be over 200,000 SAs in the UK.

Clever marketing, and some good turd polishing. ;) I hear the Scarlets sell about 4000 season tickets so an increase of 500 at the high discount price isn't that huge, but it does all help.

I asked for "same stores sales analysis" with last year, I was told I was being negative.. :bs:

For those convinced that the PRO 12 can expand in the USA readily, the article above might bring some proper context. ;)

Also depends on pricing e.g maybe there are less special offers this Season etc?

They deserve more support but traditionally gates and S Ticks are a comparatively low % of turnover, ... Sponsorship is usually the biggest.

What is the current position reference loa status and Council status ref Stadium?
