Given the Blue Planet is being credited with spreading ban of plastics across the planet, the beeb should be put down now.

I also think Only Fools and Horses is crap, and Queen were shit.
People get very angry when I share these opinions because they go against the perceived wisdom of the crowd. See above.

I don't think people gey angry.

I just don't believe you when you say there is nothing you like on there.

E.g. your comment regarding podcasts - you seem to like the format, and judging by your participation in maby of the threads seem to be interested in all sorts of thing. In which case it is very very unlikely that there isn't a single podcast on the BBC that you would listen to.

There are literally thousands of podcasts to chose from.

The variation in stuff is amazing. Assuming you have curiousity in anything. This link is a great example I challenge you to listen to a couple of these and come back to me and say you didn't like it.

The only podcast I ever listened to is the Aisha Tyler one where H Jon Benjamin tells the story of how he pooped himself in a rental car.

I don't see the point of The BBC anymore. It failed totally to expose the lies told during the Brexit Referendum rather it just gave a platform for the telling of lies. It has been politically castrated.

Regarding Soaps and reality tv programs ... what an utter load of tosh.

I see no point whatsoever for the BBC anymore and certainly do not think it fair to pay a tv licence for an institution that keeps people in their place.

But come on.

Are you really not interested in anything it does?

For me:

Nature documentaries
No adverts
Match of the day
Scrum V
Cbeebies - I know it is decent quality for the children
Radio 2, 3, 4, 6 and 5.
Loads of podcasts
A half decent website that whilst arugably having some
Have I got News for you
Decent podcast archive.
Newsnight
Questiontime
Only Connect

If you aren't interested in anything they do, then what is there to like? Netflix is great but can't offer what the BBC does on the whole.

Since stopping Radio 4 due to the constant use of the word 'So' and the bias towards females and the oderous Humphries there is none of the above that I watch anyway. I used to when I was a kid of course but life weans you off fast tv just like it does McDonald's when things get serious. 'HeartBeat' I'll watch if it's on when I come home from work but that's about it.

I honestly feel that the 'One Channel fits all' idea is gone forever. Folks will say what about the poor and the educational value etc - but everyone has cell phones and most don't watch the educational stuff anyway, it's all a matter of choice anyway.

Whilst The BBC had an ethic of standing for the Truth I was willing to forgo the rest as I saw it as a 'Gem' in our society. Their provision of a Liar's platform during the referendum and the collective Radio 4 cowardice in the face of the political establishment proved they were just a cheap Woolworth's plastic imitation of the real thing.

I spend most of my viewing time on Youtube these days.

What upsets me about the BBC is their refusal to accept competitors are televising a game the BBC do not have access to. Instead they try and sell it off to one of their radio sports channels. The BBC needs to get real .

Hey people, just pay the licence fee and stop whinging.

I'd cheerfully sack 3 quarters of the female BBC staff and 90% of the male muppets involved with OB services but watching ITV and SKY for information?

The BBC are not unbiased and don't even try to hide it anymore. 2 examples, the anti Brexit demo's held all over the country completely unreported, 3 or 4 days later we have a film crew on a boat in the Thames watching Farage throw fish into it.

On chat shows, watch Rees Mogg talk for two minutes uninterrupted spouting his alt right BS, then watch the same interviewer continually interrupt the Labour fella.

Watch them run segments on getting rid of the unelected house of Lords, well, I can't remember voting for Dacre, Murdoch and Barlclay brother to run the country either
