Post No more BBC for me
The next thing i’m liable to watch on telly is the Autumn internationals, which are six months away. The BBC has now become so utterly shite i’m doing away with it. Unplugging the aerials and refusing to pay the license.
Never thought i’d see the day, but this once great institution has dissolved into a steaming heap of faeces.

While they break their backs to come up with fresh shit to throw at Corbyn - attending a meeting with the wrong type of Jews, for example - they seem not to have noticed the growing list of Tory candidates getting suspended, at least ten in this recent election alone, for racism, far right links and, in one case, blaming Labour for bringing hepatitus to the ward.
What are they reporting on instead? 'Chris Evans speaks of his heartbreak after losing his mother.' Just the kind of banal, celebrity crap I'd expect to see in the Sunday supplements of the tabloids, rather than on the BBC.
They aren't getting another penny out of me. Their entire output these days seems to be some ill-conceived attempt to compete with ITV, but while ITV shine at making segments of shite to fit around their adverts, the BBC version is clearly penned by some Oxbridge graduate who thinks he knows what ordinary people want because he read a book about them while his butler was wiping his arse.

Surely it depends on what you watcu and listen to? Just have a browse at some of the podcasts for example or the output from say 6Music or Radio 3, not to mention the natire programmes. Sure, there is a lot to conplain about but there is a lot of great stuff.

The occasional decent programme they make will pop up on Netflix in a couple of years. I'm not spending £150 a year to watch a dozen rugby matches.

I think Spin is spot on, i looked into cancelling my license fee myself, it becomes complicated your virtually a captive audience. The BBC is accused of a left wing bias which is total *b@ll@cks*! They are sucking up to the government and the establishment instead of holding them to account. We are funding our own indoctrination! They tell us what they think we need to know and interpret it for us. Only one civilian killed by 100s of strikes in Iraq when they have destroyed a city :D

If they ask, just tell them you use your TV to stream internet and play DVDs.
Not only is the great 'detector' van a complete myth, but they have no right to enter your home to find out if you really are watching the BBC because it's a civil offense not to have a license. So *fupp* 'em.

I thought that streaming etc on a tv required a license.

I don't see the point of The BBC anymore. It failed totally to expose the lies told during the Brexit Referendum rather it just gave a platform for the telling of lies. It has been politically castrated.

Regarding Soaps and reality tv programs ... what an utter load of tosh.

I see no point whatsoever for the BBC anymore and certainly do not think it fair to pay a tv licence for an institution that keeps people in their place.

The alternative is TV like ITV or America, mmmm no thanks I don't watch any soaps or reality TV or "Game shows" but find enough to watch on BBC2 and BBC4
I criticise the bias on BBC News as much as the next person But having watched Fox CNN and MSNBC a lot over the last year they really are just propaganda vehicles for the right and left at least with the BBC you actually get some news broadcast sometimes

But come on.

Are you really not interested in anything it does?

For me:

Nature documentaries
No adverts
Match of the day
Scrum V
Cbeebies - I know it is decent quality for the children
Radio 2, 3, 4, 6 and 5.
Loads of podcasts
A half decent website that whilst arugably having some
Have I got News for you
Decent podcast archive.
Newsnight
Questiontime
Only Connect

If you aren't interested in anything they do, then what is there to like? Netflix is great but can't offer what the BBC does on the whole.

The right wing bias the beeb puts out is very disturbing for a state broadcaster.

I like Outside Source BBC World News

It is excellent onUS Politics synopsis and specialises in Trumps misdemeanours...

I even don't need Fids research detail as much as I used to ;)

Only joking Fids, keep it coming ;)
