4.2 and that was enough to shake Llanharan as well.

Any Rugby games or other sports affected?

Felt it in Llantrisant , the walls and ground shook, the lights swayed, and the Doctor called us in .

Neighbour a Doc?

It was felt all the place in the South, East to West.

I spoke to my neighbours, the one who's a teacher didn't mind the shaking at all, she's just come back from a spell of duty volcanic islands in the pacific and she didn't turn a hair. Her daughter passed info from the web and all was well.

One neighbour about 8 doors towards the rugby club didn't feel a tremor, Jim.

"Party", she smiled.

:D

It was a fair old thump , not knowing what it was , when we realised it was an earthquake we thought it was nothing more noise than anything else.

Epicentre was Swansea. I felt it all the way up here - the whole house wobbled.

Cwmllynfell.

Or, a tiny place just outside of Swansea, for those 4,999,999,999 who aren't local.

Its all relative, its a reasonable distance from Swansea in Welsh terms, Llanelli, Ammanford, Neath and Port Talbot are all closer to Swansea than Cwmllynfell as the crow flies.

I posted of Facebook this morning that there is now widespread rioting going on across South Wales, stemming from arguments over the exact location of the epicentre, between those who say it was over by here and those who say it was over by there.
