Went to see the nes Mummy movie starring Tom Cruise today.
Give it a miss. It is one of the worse movies of this year.

Thanks, bullet dodged.
I've heard Transformers: Last Knight is also a movie to rather watch grass grow.

You mean a Michael Bay film with Tom Cruise starring? Bay directs/makes explosions/stereotypes the Transformers films.
Cruise was in the Mummy. Different but also shit director there.

Haven't seen it yet, heard many disappointing reviews though

Shame really because the new 'Dark Universe' sounds like a good idea. With Frankinsltein, the invisible man and wolf man coming soon, with all the films linked

But I agree with Jim, All new Cruise films are woeful. Heard rumours he's in talks to make Top Gun 2?!

Good calls here. I've seen both, the new Transformers and The Mummy.

Transformers would be a ripoff if you stole it.

The Mummy - I guess if you're not paying for tickets it could be alright. Def not worth seeing at the cinema though. I was pretty disappointed with that one as Universal was trying to start a Dark Universe to house all their gothic characters and with this as the flagship it might not get off the ground. Oh well, maybe they'll try being creative and using new stories.

One I am looking forward to that hasn't been done as a movie yet is The Dark Tower series. Love Idris Elba and McConaughey is ok. It's a very good story and I hope they do it justice.
