 Re: Tonight I'm watching . . .
I'm currently watching a program about planning applications on BBC2. Lots of NIMBYs. It's very much like Little Britain. It's being narrated by Barbara Flynn, who has a voice like honey dripping slowly from a rose. She's lovely.

Just finished watching Bluestone 42, really good, first parts BBC 3. Comedy - Drama, about a bomb disposal outfit but not as it sounds.

Top Gear last night was ok. The river crossing was good fun. I think the idea of crossing Africa in a volvo though isnt one I'd savour.

 Re: Tonight I'm watching . . .
It becomes less daunting when you have a mammoth crew backing you up, with unlimited supplies and spares.

I like TG, but this adventure was far to contrived even for TG.

There was something on last night I really wanted to watch, but I've forgotten what it was.

 Re: Tonight I'm watching . . .
Its as if they are running out of ideas and do these expeditions to fill air time. As Stud says above, its easy with a crew. It seems very indulgent some times. I watched fifth gear and they are trying to be as cool as they can and replicate and try to outdo TG with silly car tests like pulling a dummy out of a pond in a 4x4 the quickest. I dont know about you but I wouldnt be in a position to pull out dummies out of fekkin paddling on a scooter ffs! Bring back Noel Edmonds. I would like to see Alan Partridge reviewing cars on TG. Now that would be funny. I do like the sarcasm though and if you take TG seriously I would suggest reporting your sense of humour as lost to the local plod. I am not a serious petrolhead, I do like watching motorsport sometimes, rallying is my preference. Whenever they have a new ferrari on I fall asleep as they all seem to be the same to me. I do like it when they take these cars on expeditions though as its something we could all possibley do but maybe swap the location to the Rhigos.

 Re: Tonight I'm watching . . .
I've had BBC2 on all night. University Challenge, Railway Journeys, couple of cookery programs and now the History of Syria. Not a celebrity or advert in sight. It's been bliss.
