Catching up on Peaky Blinders, series 1&2. Very, very good.

For any fellow Sci-fi fans I recommend "The Expanse" Series 1 and 2.

Twas alright, I got into it, but it was a bit slow.

Needed something for when I'm doing paperwork that isn't the stuff I watch with Mrs CJ, I shall take this recommendation

Arrested Development is well worth a watch. Very funny, as well as being the starting point behind several other shows. Jessica Walter as the elderly matriarch is the obvious inspiration of her role in Archer. Judy Greer (Cheryl Tunt) and Jeffrey Tambour (Len Trexler) also pop up. Also stars David Cross, comedy partner of Bob Odenkirk, who went on to become Saul Goodman (watch w/ Bob and David on Netflix if you haven't seen it - very funny).
Lots of high profile guest appearances. Lisa Minelli, Ron Howard, et al.
Plus Portia de Rossi, the loveliest lady ever. :love4:

Punisher.
Kicks the shit out of all the other Marvel stuff. Very dark and political.

Peakys is the best thing on free to air just now by a country mile... Utterly briliant tele. Detectorists is also a great watch if like your comedy light hearted and subtle, nothing ever much happens but the Mckenzie Crook and Toby Jones characterisations are brilliant to watch and enjoy.

I liked it. A bit of a black comedy.

A little gem of a comedy is Better Things co written by and staring Pamela Adlon with Celia Imrie as her mother. Brilliantly funny with one small problem the other co writer is Louis CK so it is doubtful for a 3rd series. But catch the first 2 and give it a few episodes really worth it
