Post Windows 10
Has anybody upgraded to Windows 10 yet, is it any good is it worth upgrading. I was thinking of doing it because I've got an Xbox One.

Windows8 (touch screen etc)has proved so unpopular that a lot of people will go from Windows7
Lots of reviews on line e.g

Upgraded at home yesterday, not worth the effort in my view, won't be upgrading my office PC.

Looks more like a mobile phone, most of what it offers seems to be to observe what you do not what it can do for you.

I'm also concerned about Office Pro compatability......

Don't need gadgets, just need a base that can provide overall performance, compatability and security with software that I utilise.

I fear that Mcsft fouled up with Windows 8 and are now trying to retrieve the mishaps e.g start button and touchscreen emphasis and are now going overboard with cross product compatability as G4 etc begins to take the limelight?

Better than Windows 8.1, which isn't saying much, but I also preferred Windows 7...

Keep your games before upgrading, they are not in 10

Upgrade took 20 mins the day it was released. No issue at all. You can uninstall it for up to a month if you dont like it.

only if you have the pro version, if you have home you have re-install.

Looks good to me, seems quicker than 8.1 - I have been able to ditch the the third party shell I put on windows 8 to make it work like a proper computer.

Early days but so far so good except that I had a bugger of a job getting civ 4 to work.

It's a good browser.

Curry's and PC World are using it and it's fine.

Installing it is a doddle.

The downside recognised so far is it costs £15 a year to play Solitaire.

:D
