Teams issued.
Racing will miss Machenaud and Leinster have injury too... but these are STRONG teams.

Leinster to win 10+? ... could be tight up to 4th Q?

ref teams

Should be a good match. However, I favour Leinster to win, given their European pedigree, unbeaten record this season and the teams they have beaten: Montpellier (Team South Africa), Glasgow (Team Scotland), Saracens (Team England) and Scarlets (Team Wales).

I think that it's a worthy final in most senses ie they've earned it and are good representatives of Country and Europe?

Leinster would not surprise many in that respect.

Racing might with their wealthy backer etc...

But ..

They are, imo, an example where in the Pro World Business and Rugby interests are truly integrated.

The budget isn't that extreme.

They top the Top14 list of french qualified players 16.3/23 average in the JIFF measurement.

They are in contention for the Top14 Championship (2nd in the table and play off home finalists) and have now made the Euro final too.

Leinster, imo, will win and win well and deserve to, their brand of Rugby is excellent but Racing have progressed from a dour game plan to one that is much more open. Their opening against Munster was truly dynamic.

There's nothing to dislike or criticise about this final?

I also believe that the future of N Hemp Club Rugby is based on the European aspect.

Some have recognised that and are preparing for it, others remain too introspective and maybe not recognising potential.

----------------------------------------------

I can imagine the counter opinion of the status of International status but that's subjective and perhaps ignoring potential futures if the games becomes more integrated.

I also recognise the unfortunate potential of Club rugby leading to footy like futures.

Having the opportunity to watch all the leagues I'm happy to continue with a wide perspective and interest.

Incidentally, the Challenge Cup Euro aspect is flawed and the lack of opportunity for developing countries in the more tiered N Hemp aspect is a disgrace.

I would love to see increased SA presence and a N Hemp tiered competition with competing Conferences at the top level.

Now I'm beginning to dream ... ;)

Allez Leinster and Racing and 'que le meilleur gagne' (may the best win) .. I am looking forward to it.

and, of course, Cardiff and Gloucs, both deserved finalists and shame on those that didn't commit and make it a more competitive competition!

Too much whistle based on video refereeing. If it is not egregious then just shut up.

Racing stronger than the Scarlets at set play and break down pose a different challenge. Leinster will figure it out.. ;)
