Big comeback by Cardiff Blues, not any easy kick to win it by Anscombe either.

Just a sobering thought.
Both teams are only mid-table in their respective leagues.
However, that shouldn't detract from a cracking exciting match.
Well played Blues and Gloucester for playing such fantastic open rugby.
Rugby was the winner.
Maybe it will be a catalyst to bring more into the game in Spain.

Not enough credit given to Matthew Morgan !! One spectacular break; but that demanded the close attention of two or three Gloucester players in defence; leaving other areas with minimal cover..

A really fine performance by two of our regions this season which has narrowed the gap between the Premiership and Pro 14.

What gap? If you took out the Kings, Dragons and Zebre, then the Pro 14 would be at least equally good as the AP. Leinster, Munster and Scarlets made up three of the four Champions Cup semi-finalists this season, and are easily up there with the best of English (and French) rugby. Furthermore, even Benetton very nearly beat Toulon at home, and the hideously out-of-form Ospreys nevertheless came very close to beating Saracens both home and away.

Thoroughly enjoyable final and excellent flavour of Cup rugby!

Well done Cardiff ! Excellent team spirit and gumption to comeback and ultimately deservedly win the match.

Some good performances from blues players in there

Scott Andrews was pretty good when he came on and is suited to playing a wider game... Ellis Jenkins was excellent and man of the match for me. Seb Davies took a bit of a bettering in the first half but came through in the second half.

Replacing nick Williams is a must though and difficult job for blues

Nick will be sorely missed.
Gotta admit I was impressed with Gloucester's number 8 Ackerman in the first half but he seemed to run out of steam in the second half.
This was true of a number of Gloucester players. In fact, Ackerman was replaced midway through the second half.

Just watched the recording as I was out last night. That was an excellent game of rugby and the Blues thoroughly deserved the win.

Excellent game of Rugby. Imagine what that backline could do behind a better front 5. It would be such a shame if they tail off next season, but they haven't made any new signings yet which is a real concern.

Ownership does not deserve this success, great way to send Danny Wilson off.

Essential that the Blues make some quality signings in the pack. If they do not, then there will be a long way to fall next season.

Well done Cardiff Blues, some serious sour grapes by the official Gloucester Rugby twitter account which they later deleted I see...

Is Moriarty still injured?
