I knew that Leinster were favourites, but this is too much. It certainly puts a dampener on Scarlets' win against them last year.

What has one to do with the other?

Because so many pundits (including some on here) had been saying that the Scarlets would be "full of confidence" after that Pro 12 SF win.

Please stay on Gwlad

I'm sure you were reasonably confident of a Scarlets win.

Scarlets looked out on their feet today and we don't have the required depth for multiple competitions and Wales. I am proud of the improvement, but I doubt any Welsh team can afford the squad needed to compete on all 3 fronts,as even Saracens have found.

Leinster could beat any club side in the world I suspect, and forms the backbone of a very good Irish squad.

Congrats to them.

We were comprehensively thrashed.
The only question I have is about what juice the Leinster players were on?
Sorry removed for legal reasons
Their 80 minutes at that pace! I'm sorry but I do have a question mark.
The Leinster players were like men possessed.
I have never ever witnessed a team playing at that intensity for 80 minutes.

Thanks to scarlet fans for travelling in great numbers. Not easy one to swallow. You have to lose a few semis before you can get there. Getting out of group in this competition, and getting to a semi shows class. You can't get anywhere without a hard-core of fans from where your from, and scarlets have the best fans in Wales. Hope they kick on from here over next 3 seasons.

Congratulations to Leinster. They are the best team in Europe. What a season for Irish rugby
Scarlets didn’t do themselves justice today but even if they had it would not have been enough. Still a semi final is in itself a great effort.

Pivac/Jones have done a v good job and there's no doubt about it!

Now they'll have to earn their corn from a different angle, there has been some losses to recover from and they'll have to pick up a team that was truly beaten today.

Part of the process and both Leinster and Munster have been through it.

Not easy....but formative

Ridiculous and pathetic: perhaps we were just better than you (and fitter into the bargain).

You really are a bad loser, forgotten the red card fiasco?

Just can't accept that you were never really in that match, can you?

Only a true *my love* would say something like that after a heavy defeat.

Its is one of the reasons I walked away from the game, moronic fans.

Big Red is a decent poster but this wasn’t one of his better efforts. Irish rugby is simply getting it right and it’s impressive. Sean next year your boys need to step up in the RWC where you have badly underachieved. There can be no excuses. You need to be seriously challenging at the final stages of that tournament.

No problem Pearcey and I agree about the RWC, but if BR had watched his team win in a similar manner today, then he wouldn't have said what he did.

He's said a few things this season TBH, but I just wasn't having that one. Not today.

He's just trying to grab the headlines and change the narrative from 'well done leinster' to 'poor badly done to, Llanelli'.

I thought that was allowed on message boards? He did say "we were comprehensively thrashed"? Then it went a bit sideways... :D

I guess the final will tells us how good Leinster are though I could make the case that he two best teams left played each other today.
